PICTURES OF DAM

Ashlie is a very small and square 12lbs and 11.5" tall. She has excellent conformation with perfect ears, comes from champion bloodlines and has the sweetest disposition. She is a really loving mom and takes excellent care of her puppies (and my kids!). She has a very soft curly coat with a medium thickness. She rarely barks and is a treasured part of our little family. She has the perfect temperament for our kids and is extremely patient. She has the perfect amount of cuddly and playful. She is the perfect size for a house dog! She is our only schnauzer for now. She is definitely a breed that can do it all. She goes camping with us, will sleep out with our other dogs once in while when we go on vacation (weather permitting). She can hold her own with the bigger dogs, and will even run around the block with me on occasion! (2.5 miles). She is happy as long as she is included in what we are doing.

Ashlie became a part of our family in the winter of 2006. We bought her from a reputable breeder here in Utah, sight unseen, which was a first for us. I fell in love with her face in her picture.

She was 9 weeks old when we brought her home. She had been reserved as a really young pup, but the people decided their circumstances changed and they couldn't have a puppy. It was meant to be, because the second I saw her face I knew she was suppose to be apart of our family.

"Ashlie" was named for her darling black tipped paws. Her favorite place to rest is in front of our fireplace. Her paws looked like she had been digging in ashes, so hence her name..The black shed out with her puppy hair, but her favorite place remains the same!
The breeder was nice to email me the baby pictures she had taken of Ashlie. I loved having them, which gave me the idea to make little photo albums for all of our puppies. They change and grow so fast you forget how tiny and precious they were.
